750ish. I just want the factory seats redone in leather.

Check out Canada Seat Skins. They were running a promotion for the FRS and I was able to get set of Katzkins from them for about $700. Quality is excellent.

I wouldn't want to go cheap on interior... have you seen bad interior?? I'd rather have stock cloth than bad leather. Just my .02

Has anyone tried installing the following JDM seat covers or had experience with this vendor? Can they be self installed or do they need to be taken to an upholstery shop?

http://www.nigel-jdmparts.com/japan-...her-seat-cover

I chatted with the guy who runs the site and he says they are official JDM toyota seat covers. I also got clarification on the "pre-order" status on that page. He says that it is actually special order, ordered directly from japan once you place an order. I ordered a set last week, ETA ~8 weeks.

Those might be like the DAMD seat covers that I test fitted for an Outback a while back. In which case you could install them, they basically slip over the cloth seats.

In this Outback's case, keep in mind these didn't fit just right because they were designed for the leather seats (which doesn't make sense, pleather seat covers for leather seats...). But basically, they are "fitted" seat covers that tie down or velcro together.

If you read the bottom it says " polyurethane + Material: Polyester" Do these have any real leather in them or are they Pleather?

How much do you want for yours? I would have Fr-S interior to go with cash.

oh god those seats look awful. they're like bus seats rather than a sports car seats.

AVOturboworld 01-14-2013 03:24 PM

It's an Outback, the seats *are* more like bus seats than sport seats. ;)
