Small Philly area GB on Underbody Panels?
 

I'm considering purchasing the OEM underbody panels from japanparts.

If I purchase a single set of the panels it is $196 for the panels plus $129 for shipping, $325.

It's a bit cheaper if we buy 4 sets at a time, $750 for the 4 sets plus $350 for shipping, which comes out to $275 shipped for each set. I was thinking of doing a small group buy like they did in this thread:

Is anyone interested who lives in the Philly (KOP-meet-up) area? I'd rather not have to deal with shipping them myself.

I was trying to figure how to get this cheaper. Since I'm going to Japan in Sept, I will try to pick up a few smaller parts but didn't think I could get this set much cheaper since shipping....

... Guy I ordered clear markers fell through too, so kinda happy since I can get them from Japan maybe....

Update: I had some other things on order from japanparts, so I just added the underbody panels to my order to save a bit on shipping. So you're on your own, sorry!

Damn that's too bad. I just linked this thread to someone in the PA area that was interested just now. I believe there was 2 total that were interested.

I guess there is still 3 people interested so finding the last person shouldnt be too hard

I guess that's a good point, I could try to tweak my order for the set of 4 rather than the single set of panels. It's just that they've already charged my card twice and I received a foreign currency fee each time...not sure I wanna mess with it at this point.

Phaedrus asked me before but I couldn't justify it at the time. If it's just one more person you guys need, I'm in.

Phaedrus if your order is already placed, you guys can contact me and we'll set up payment and stuff. I'm located in the Doylestown area if you need to get an idea of pick up assuming they'd all get shipped to one address.

I'm still in if need be... if I order this myself, I'll end up getting a lot more than I should.

I would jump on this, but I'm planning on getting a set of wheels and tires.

I did plan to buy the body kits, but I am not sure join this run together will let the shipping fee

You guys decide. I was going to get them sooner or later, and I just wanted to jump in to help out on the cost.

There are a few pieces I want too, but I'm gonna have to hold out on a lot of it.
