Wish i could get this now but have to wait a little bit, pretty much a must have if you are wanting to get the most power while staying NA.
|
Technically most power for NA or FI applications.

this with the innovative kit.... done, well pending what viscontis looks like
|
The link is dead BTW. I'm curious why this hasn't gotten much interest, people were waiting months for Visconti to release his kit.
The kit plus cable, license, and data logger works out to be $1400. Is there something I'm missing here? |
the link for it is http://www.fa20club.com/product.php?productid=17758 but you are correct.
|
So who here is running their kit?
|
believe @reeves has the flex fuel kit running for a few months now. hope he can share

I haven't finished wiring up the kit yet, but haven't been in a rush to do so either since I haven't really needed it. I'm on the road almost every weekend too, mostly up through South Carolina, and for whatever reason there's a surprisingly high number of E85 stations in that state. Haven't really needed or wanted 93 octane since I purchased the E85 tune.
I bought the flex fuel kit just in case I found myself in a situation where I would need to mix 93 octane and E85... luckily, I've yet to encounter that situation. |
So just out of curiosity. If you get a flex fuel tune, is it going to be an enhanced tune? For example, when you have a tank of 93 in it will it be equal to your performance (Stage 1 or 2 or whatever is best) tune, and then ramp up accordingly to full E85? Or is there a base Flex map, then you have to purchase a performance tune above that?
I haven't done any tuning (or modding at all) yet. Just trying to figure this stuff out first. |
the kit is mainly hardware and flex fuel compensation tables added to a preexisting tune. so you will need some sort of tune already be it pump or e85.
|
does it include a harness or have to cut wire?
