Yeah, I could make that work. I just drove to Pacific City this weekend, two hours but super fun drive. http://tinyurl.com/b24nap8

Something to think about if you have any days off coming up.@Chen

I should also mention Pelican Brewery was pretty awesome and a great location but super popular. Finding parking for all of us could be an issue unless we go when everyone else is working or something. Also, Pelican is a touch on the pricey side ($15 to fill a growler, $17 for Fish and Chips).

Let's make an event out of it!
Ps. You get your car fixed?

I'm gonna go off topic a little bit and look ahead towards the summer. I'm thinking we could do a cruise down the gorge on the following route:

Many opportunities for photography and nice spirited driving through the Columbia River Gorge.

I also guess the Rowena Loops near Hood River are "world famous" according to this video:

looking forward to all these cruises. Plus there should be a few more new owners in the summer.

I voted BWW on the 20th but am open to most anything on that weekend.

I'm going to organize another scavenger hunt for February or March... this one will be in the Portland area and will likely take us out to the gorge and also include some West Hills stuff.

The gorge in February is nasty cold and icy.

Tillamook? Newberg? Good roads either way.

Tough for me to make east side of PDX especially on a weekend - I drive from Banks to downtown PDX weekdays, about 70 miles round trip.

Side note: the de-icer is slick. Kicked it out pretty good going up the east side of Germantown tonight. Assend came around just in time for opposing traffic to get through. Lots of pretty flashy lights on the dash.

hwy 99 isn't so bad to crusing except when you get stuck in between towns.

Buffalo Wild Wings
1200 Northeast Broadway Street #20
Portland, OR 97232

on the 20th 6pm? How does that sound to everyone??

Thats more of the central BWW of portland. Maybe meet up at 5pm ish? debate times! or locations.

JesseE 01-05-2013 03:37 AM

no parking at that bww... the one in central beaverton or hillsboro both have real parking... downtown parking is just asking for dents in your doors
