LIP or NO LIP??

That is the question....

Rims with a machined lip or same color?

Or no lip at all?

I remember years ago, the big thing was deep dish rims... like 3" lip. Not sure how I feel about that anymore.

I would say lip but same colour.

I have had no lip (XXR 530) and lip (Rota DPT and Gram Light 57DR) but they were all one color. I'm planning on trying something different with a silver wheel and polished lip in the near future.

My advice is if sticking with a 17" wheel to stay away from a lip because it will look smaller, 18's and 19's can pull off the lip much better.

Your rims do look small. But don't get me wrong, your car looks good. Hope you didn't take offense to my comment about snow tires. I wasn't trying to knock your set up or choice of wheel or tire size. I seen the pic of your car thinking it was the set up I wanted, then seen the size and got a little down cause it wasn't the same size I was trying to compare with. But I wasn't trying to knock ur car or anything.

Its all good, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If there were a "perfect wheel", car, etc., there would not be any others on the road. Different people have different tastes.
