Carsmo Armrest - Short review and quick pics

Picked this up today and thought I'd write a quick review.

PRO....
The leather on the Carsmo armrest seems to be of high quality. The red stitching is nice and their is enough padding to make it comfortable for your elbow. It fits snug and shouldn't come off during hard cornering.

The core of the armrest is made from fibreglass. I'm about 240 lbs and leaned pretty hard on the armrest. It held up to my weight test so I'd call it sturdy enough for every day use.

CON....
The underside of the armrest was not as clean as I'd like it to be. Not sure if they were rushed to finish production on my order but there was excess leather that was not glued down. Overall the leather has enough glue to keep it firmly attached to the frame.

A temporary problem, but out of the box the armrest stinks. Airing it out for a couple of days hopefully will fix this problem.

Conclusion....
I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this item again. It's not the cheapest center console armrest out there but it's also not the most expensive. I think it looks almost stock and feels good.

Bought mine 20 months or so ago, still looks good as new. Some of the best $125 (incl. S&H) that I have ever spent.

It took a few days but the smell went away. The unit has held up extremely well. Great in town and can be popped out for spirited driving.

That's pretty interesting and looks like a nice alternative to spending 400 on the one from factory

Can someone post a picture of what it looks like installed?
