Take it from me, the 6 puck is way more than you will ever need for a non FI setup. I'm running a 6 puck on my non tuned stock engine and it's definitely overkill...I put it in because I'll be running FI in January. The biggest advantage with clutch replacement comes from the ability to lighten the flywheel. I need to take a video of how my engine responds to throttle changes...blipping for gear changes is way easier.
So regardless of what you decide to run for a clutch make sure to go with a lighter flywheel, completely wakes up the engine IMO. Clutchmasters steel flywheel is what I am running so you don't need to go with an aluminum flywheel just something a little lighter than stock and you will definitely feel it.
EDIT
I guess I should explain why it's overkill. A 6 puck clutch is made from a ceramic compound and because of this the friction surface is very very grippy. So when you are stopped it is very hard to accelerate smoothly without looking like a jackass revving and peeling out. If you don't modulate the clutch perfectly you do one of two things...stall or lurch. Both suck at an intersection. You also have to deal with the clutch making noise, yes your car will sound like its broken to anyone that doesn't know shit about cars, it's not extremely annoying but it's not a soothing sound either. There are some pluses though, you won't be slipping this clutch into oblivion, it makes spinning 255 width tires a joke, and when you shift correctly feels oh so good.
