I posted here initially because it's based on the BRZ video, but created a new thread over at the Engine, Exhaust, Drivetrain forum. Please move the conversation over there:

It is really interesting to see what time will they release for 0-100 km/h. It could be in 6 sec if they reach 100 km/h in second gear and don't need to change. But if they reach 100 km/h in third gear then the car would even be able to make this time under 6 sec in second gear.

Without knowing the power curve, we can't tell if it'll make sense to rev up to fuel cut-off. Either way, 0-60 MPH is definitely happening in 1st and 2nd.

Mods, I created a thread over at the Engine, Exhaust, Drivetrain forum figuring that this probably belongs over there. Feel free to combine them if you like.
