Does anyone know of a good area in Oregon to take a car for some fun drifting (attempted) and to basically just goof around in?

Ideally looking for a large parking lot in the middle of nowhere or something similar.

mt.hood national forest has many empty large empty parking lot areas. though everyone must be responsible for their own actions. :)

I've done all my screwing around at Oregon Raceway Park, but you could, at your own risk, consider:
The Vancouver Mall parking lot, PCC Sylvania parking lot come to mind. I would assume they are also fairly decently patrolled.

I wouldn't try the PCC campus. They lock the entrances and patrol fairly regularly.

Maybe try a drift event at PIR?

Heard portland has alot of good trackdays.... why not go there? Plus safety marshalls and emergency personel on site is better than 911 showing up and asking why were you hooning in a parking lit....

Spent about 45 min drifting in the Sylvania parking lot during the last couple days of finals (th-fr). It was awesome because not a single car was around. A cop drove by watched me and drove off, no security ever came by. This would only be feasible during those last couple day however.
