Toyota Parts Outlet

Just curious if anyone has noticed anything similar, but as of the 20th I've started noticing fraudulent charges on one of my credit cards. The last time I had used it was back July at toyotapartsoutlet.com, and prior to that was six months prior at Amazon. My concern is they had some sort of breach. Not an accusation, simply wondering if anyone had purchased something from them and is noticing similar activity.

I bought an item from their site back in July/Augst time as well and I too had a number of fraudulent charges charged to my card the day after Thanksgiving. All the charges were charged to 3 different sites, but each site had the exact same layout, just a different website name.

Mine was mostly porn. Lots and lots of porn. A few cash advances for a buck or two where someone was checking if the card number was good.

By no means am I associating my purchase with toyota parts outlet with the fraudulent charges made to my card. I buy a lot of things online, it just so happens that I purchased something from them and the OP made a thread about it that i decided to post. The charges to mine were all $50 charges to very similar websites which is why my bank caught it so quickly and was able to rectify the situation. I would still gladly purchase from them again as they had excellent customer service. Do not let this one coincidence possibly deter you from possible interactions with this website. If you are going to you might as well just not shop online in general.

And if it is the case, the fault would probably reside with whatever credit processing service they use. It's not a huge issue to me as I simply have to replace the card and contest the charges (a five minute phone call), I just wanted to be able to give them a friendly heads up if it's the case. I found it more probable than Amazon revealing my credit card info, but it's also possible it came into someone's possession in a completely different way I haven't thought of--perhaps I used it at a gas station with a skimmer and the pump couldn't read the card, so I moved to a different one and used a different card. I'm just looking for a pattern. :)

It's always a good idea to check your activity every week if not everyday.

So far all the police are saying that the perpetrator is a wanker.

They also indicated they are hoping he will come clean! LOL
