Do you regret your purchase?

Hey guys so I have put in a order for a BRZ and have NO intentions of cancelling, but I wish to get a general consensus on the topic of whether they are satisfied with their FRS/86/BRZ EVEN with the many problems most people are experiencing.

I personally believe in the perfection of imperfection since nothing is truly so.

So, do you regret it?

Plenty of threads like this already if you have a read. I personally don't think there's any problems "most people are experiencing". But then from reading the forums you probably already know that eh!

Some issues for some people with it being a new model car but "most people" is stretching it IMHO. I have had two of these cars and other than the drivers seal on the second one not performing and probably going to be replaced under warranty have had no issues. Both were post Aug 12 builds.

My car was built in August. The problems you have read about were pretty much all corrected by then and I have no regrets at all. In fact, now that I've owned it and had the chance to find out what it's all about, I love it more than when I bought it.

We had the typical CEL light but Scion reimbursed us one car payment. The window squeaks sometimes but other than that very happy.

No regrets here. Slightly regret trading in my previous vehicle in for it though. Would have made a nice winter beater

If you want affordable fun and love driving, there are no regrets. Although, I think my kids would have liked a slightly bigger back seat. That being said, they will have a little more room once they move up to booster seats instead of full car seats.

if you ask me do I feel that I got what I paid for I would say sure. I paid a little under $27k OTD, handles like a champ but I wish that for that price I would have gotten at least 200whp. that being said I still don't regret my purchased

I voted half - I had an order for a BRZ-LMT LR that I cancelled on because I needed (I really did) a car asap. I still really really like the FRS, I just wish we had the GT86 Limited. And more power of course. So I guess I'm waiting for the BRZ STi to see what they do with it. And secretly wishing the release series FRS is the GT86 Limited lol

Still feels awesome driving it though.

voted half...because as much as i love this car its driving me insane not having enough money and time to get everything done to it i want done FWP

I voted half because even though I love this car to death and have fun every time I drive it, it was probably the worst financial decision I could've made at this point in my life. My old car was paid off, ran well enough, and only cost me gas and insurance. It had issues at the beginning of the year that made me want something new, and when I inspected my finances, I found out I could easily afford a new car.

Now, I can easily afford the FR-S, but I probably should've picked a cheaper option. There were a couple of choices that would've been half the price I think. I live at home with my parents, and have a ton of student loans to pay back, and I can't afford to move out just yet. A cheaper car would make that happen faster. But, the FR-S was just too sexy, and too "right" for the moment to pass up. I love my car. I'll deal with the extra debt for that.
