Tinting on Long Island

Hey all, just got my car done at The Tint Shop in Great Neck, NY. Ended up getting 35% 3M FX Premium all around (except windshield) and it came out perfectly. Will put up some pictures later this week once the sun has a chance to do some curing effect on the tint.

Joe and his son AJ performed the work, I showed up at 9:00AM today, they were wrapping up another vehicle so I waited for about 30 minutes, and then my car was done within an hour after that. Would've been sooner, but we were chatting up quite a bit. Looks like Joe's done our car a few times now, as he was pretty comfortable in his cuts and method of application.

I'd recommend him with no hesitation.

If you plan to go there, make sure you check their site - they usually have a monthly coupon. Total job was $130 + tax with a lifetime warranty. Can't beat that.

Edit: Here's a pic for now, crappy phone quality, weather was overcast, and rain hasn't stopped since I got it done, so apologies for the moisture/lighting. The windshield looks almost white in this picture because of all of the moisture. Will update it once the sun comes out and everything's dry.

yea joe's great. i had mine done there a few months back. my office is about a 5min walk from there, down great neck road, so i just dropped my car off in the morning and picked it up during lunch. quality work, definitely check for coupons as i paid the same ($130 + tax) for 35% all around. i have a couple of wrinkles in my driver's side window due to the stupid weatherstripping being pushed up by the window, but it's not enough for me to bother him right now.

That sounds great. I just went to a place by me and they did a horrible job for $200! I dont even know what kind of tint it is!

All they said was to pick the %.

Have to go back and have them fix it ASAP.

Where'd you go, if you don't mind me asking?

I had my car tinted at this place as well. Joe was a great guy. From his websites and twitters, he has worked many many high end cars also. Overall, he did a good job on my car. A few pecks of dust here and there but nothing noticeable unless you look for it. I got the Suntek 35% all around. He has 3M and more expensive tint also.

If you're looking for an alternative, we also do tint, vinyl, and clear bra.

How much do you charge for these services? Didn't see a price for these on your website.

Specifically, how much for tint (and what brand do you use?) Also, do you do anything special for the Dot Matrix borders on the rear sides and back? How much for taillight overlays?
