Wheel Repair, how good is it?
So I recently had a momentary lapse of judgement and curbed my right rear wheel...The damage is only minor rash on the very edge of the lip, but it stands out because my wheels are Satin Black Gramlight 57 Xtremes. Ive been looking at possibly having one of those "come to you" wheel repair services repair it, but I am skeptical about how good the wheel will turn out.
Has anyone here used one of these sevices before and if so, how good was the work? Im really OCD about my car so if its something I will notice it'll bug me and eventually I will just replace the wheel. |
I believe there are some good shops out there, but I don't think anyone can fix it properly with out a dismount, and proper shop tools and paint booth.
I also understand how it would bug you. I have crazy OCD about that stuff as well. Goodluck bro |
Wheel repair is easily summed up "you get what you pay for"

We have guys that come out to the dealership and fix them on used cars. I had some Nismo LMTG4's i bought off eBay repaired and they were as good as new.
Call your dealer and they will usually let you know when their repair guys are there. |
