ECU Update letter from scion
 

Not sure if other people have got this letter..but i got a letter with my vin number on the car stating that certain early model year fr-s vehicles ob2 diagnostics system may need to be updated and i should go in for an update.

yup got my recall letter too.

When I saw this I got a letter but it wasn't that. It was the one about an owners manual update. I wouldn't be surprised if that one follows.
On another note, I got a recall notice for the Rav4 that I traded..LOL

Mine contained the owners manual update AND ECM update notice. Check your envelope.

I didnt get an ECM update letter, just the owners manual update.

Is this ECM update in regards to the cooling system? Wasn't that only applicable in certain states?

Got an ECM update letter. Got my car June 1st.

I got an ECM letter today also. Never heard anything about the manual, gonna have to go read up on that.

Does anyone know the vin range on this?
