Vibration/Noise near instrument cluster?

Are any of you also hearing a vibration or noise near the instrument cluster? I checked the speaker panels but it doesn't seem to be coming from there. I don't think its the window switch panel on the door as its definitely something near the gauge cluster. Thoughts?

Can you tell more when it happens, constantly or at certain rpm? It would be nice to have video too?

I believe I have this same issue. Its a plastic rattling sound coming somewhere near the left hand side of the driver dash near the door/window area.

I notice it normally when I get on the free way and am just cruising along at that speed/3000 RPM range. It sometimes seems to go away but it happens so often and stays there for a long time. Cant remember if I hear it when on side streets off the top of my head. Been there since I bought the car.

I have tried to put my hands on all areas that might be loose while driving to see if I can feel what is rattling or if putting my hands on things like the speakers/vents and such would cause the rattling to stop which it doesn't. I think it might be something inside the dash :/

I will try and get a video of it if I can tonight.

I just got my FR-S (have ~600 miles so far) and noticed an issue like you're describing. I only noticed it this week though, so I don't know if it just developed or what.

I notice if I press down on the top of the dash (right where the speedo and tacho are), it quiets the (slight) rattle I get when cruising.
I'm guessing that some foam tape would go someways towards fixing it.

I have a similar noise coming somewhere near center ventilation between 2K - 3K rpm. Hope we can get a solution.

I have a plastic rattling vibration as Autocon described, seems to be coming from the center of the dash and most noticeable around 3.5-4.5 RPM in 3rd gear. Took it to the dealer and they merely added some insulation but the sound is still there.

get use to them. I tend to drive with the windows down as much as possible and music on so I hardly ever hear them. With the windows up and no radio it can drive me mad sometimes depending on the road.

I have this too, but I figured it was just due to the way it's been constructed. I usually have music on or windows down so I never notice anyway (love driving in SoCal, I have windows down whenever I'm off the freeway).

Same rattle here. I located two in the dash area when I drive. One right under the speedometer/steering column area and the other is right under the glove in the passenger area. Starts at less than 20 mph on the driver area, then the passenger follows around 25 mph or higher.

Ditto here. I took apart my HU and wrapped a ton of stuff to try and figure out what it was. I'm not quite sure if it fixed it...

Below 40º, I have a rattle/buzz near the driver's A-pillar. I think it's coming from the small dash vent. Above 40º, I have a ticking/click coming from the center A/C vents, which goes away when pushing down on the dash. There are plenty of other random noises, but these are the ones that drive me nuts.
