cold weather causing windows not to go back up
When I went outside this morning the car was covered with ice. So i tried opening the door, the window dropped down. However when I got inside the car and shut the door the window didn't go back up. Also passenger side window doesn't work at all and the auto scroll for driver doesn't work.
cliffs: -cold weather -driver window gets stuck on way down, have to roll it up to fix it -no driver auto scroll - passenger side window doesn't work either |

Thanks to this post, I saved myself $120 at the dealership tonight. They wanted to charge me to diagnose this problem and claim it was caused by my 6.5" speaker baffles hitting the window actuator. In all reality, I it was caused by the cold weather and a recent snow storm. They took care of the invoice for me and sent me on my way.
I made them leave the baffles on, as it didn't sound right went the service writer called me the first time. |

@firestorm_frs This is common for all cars with frameless windows - just look on the 350z and 370z forums.

The first link to fix the problem are they talking about the driver window, or both buttons told hold?
