Leather seat covers (Autowear Japan)
 

I came across these seat covers on a japanese website and they seem to be similar to the clazzios and just slip over the existing upholstery. It looks like they only ship to Japan though based on a rough translation of the page. Anyone know anything about these or where to obtain them in the US?

So much red. I think they would look better with smaller accents of red, with black being predominant.

True. These caught my eye though since they're similar to the clazzios and at least have that black separation so it's not a solid red strip going down the middle. These look to be dirt cheap in Japan at least, somewhere around $150-$250 i believe. They do also have a solid black option

There are quite a few seat covers on ebay, i think CoverCraft brand maybe? Some have Alcantara inserts.

just typed in "frs seat covers" didnt really bring up much. mostly from a brand called coverking. and it isnt very specific on if the purchase will be fore the complete set of seats or just one. Plus all their images are stock file photos. None actually show covers fitted to the frs which really bugs me when buying items on ebay.

so then i went onto their site and looked at their pricing. a neoprene set for only the driver and front passenger cost $312 (before s/h) on ebay they had it advertised for $216

The cheapest set they have was again, just front row, mesh covers cost $162

I think the clazzio seats would be the best bet in value and quality and was planning on ordering mine next month. but until then, ill still probably be poking around and looking at other options lol

Don't buy any leather seats for your car until you've at least checked out Katzkins. In my opinion they offer the nicest selection and best fit of any manufacturers. Pricey but I know that's the way I will go if I end up putting leather in my FR-S.
