H6 on 86
One of my friend in Japan informed me that, at the 5th Kansai 86/BRZ meet he saw interesting BRZ! Here's a photo
http://ichitaka05.files.wordpress.co...026d.jpg?w=726 http://ichitaka05.files.wordpress.co...d36f.jpg?w=726 Yes, you're seeing it correctly. It's EZ30 (H6) engine inside the BRZ. Edit: Little correction on my part. It's H6 on 86. I'm not sure it's full 86 or BRZ owner changed bumper & other stuff to 86, but when I find out, I'll update it Reference: 5th Kansai 86/BRZ Meet Reference 2: My auto blog lol |
YES YES YES. Probably screwed weight distribution a bit, but YES YES YES.

Here's some update:
Sorry on all the BRZ fans/owners. I'm sorry, I lied. It's 86 on H6 :( Also here are some pics of Tsuchiya-san & sounds like Orido-san test drive the car... http://cdn2.mkimg.carview.co.jp/mink...1dd550b698.jpg http://cdn2.mkimg.carview.co.jp/mink...0edcb71d67.jpg http://cdn2.mkimg.carview.co.jp/mink...78387e2183.jpg From his blog, he commented that Tsuchiya-san commented a bit hard review. Orido-san made more softer review... but of course, he pointed out the negative parts. Tsuchiya-san commented (rough translation) "It's better than I've expected. There is good amount of power there... but maybe cause it's a recently done, engine respond isn't that great. Also steering feel, there are here and there that get stuck. Suspension need a lot of work." Orido-san commented (again rough translation) "Engine response isn't bad as Tsuchiya-san said it is to be, but front is heavier, so it's more toward "drifting". I like the feeling of this car more than stock one. This car also feels safe, so even if I speed up, I'm not scared." Sounds like there's a lot of work for the owner & at the end, he was somewhat jokingly commented that, hope some shop can sponsor him some suspension stuff :bellyroll: |
