Tein SRC testing at SoWS

We'll have a full review coming soon, but in the meantime... enjoy

I'd really appreciate some feedback from those of you that rode in our car as well!

After riding in your car I felt it was pretty firm but still very composed through some bumps at SOW. They reminded me a lot like how KW V3 "feel" on the S2000. To be honest tho, I wasn't really paying attention to the the coilovers. First lap I was thinking OMG I will die any second since I've never been that close to the limit or braking so deep into corners but after I gain confidence in your driving I started to take notes on braking points, driving line, etc. Any other time i've been that fast was with my first instructor ever (Kel from s2ki)

I felt the same way.. While I always said I'd never be the person screaming like I see on videos on YouTube.. I'd love to see a picture of my face while riding with them.. Going into turn one I'm like WTF is this guy doing lol.. The car just seemed so planted.. And after the ride I tried to mimic the same with my car and dropped 8 seconds I think.. I had no idea what the car could do.. It's made me completely rethink just having a street car.. Now I want the full suspension and sticky race rubber and fancy dancy brakes.. But still have to maintain a dd ride

This. I shared the same initial impressions until it dawned on me that @CSG Mike knew what he was doing. I am fighting every urge to purchase the SRCs, but it's looking to be a losing proposition.

I think that is the exact CSG philosophy. They want a car you can track but does not compromise DD ability.

The ride daily driving a bit firmer, but it's not the "OMG it's gonna knock your teeth out" ride that people think it'll be :D SoWS is literally the bumpiest track we have locally.

Go to 1:44 on this video to see a quick clip of how the damping looks from OUTSIDE of the car. It's over the "chicane" portion of SoWS (really REALLY bumpy part), and the car is going over 100mph. You can see the suspension completely absorbing the bumps, and this is on the track ("stiffer") damper settings.

At 0:40, you can see a hard right/left weight transition, also from outside the car, at another bumpy section of the track going roughly 50 mph.
