Added to my build thread's first post:
Grimmspeed Oil Cap & Battery Tie Down installed. Alcantara w/ red stitch radio and airbag surround from Redline Goods. I'll do JPM Coachworks next time as I had to install it myself and I couldn't get it perfectly lined up or looking quite like it should.

What's your input on the yellow shocks?

i have my redline goods dash piece on it's way in. how did you go about the stereo surround? They told me it involves some cutting... where/how did you cut it to fit right? everything clip together ok once it was all wrapped or did you have to force it down with the added thickness?

I'm really curious to see what you will put down on that same dyno with a header and a tune...Quite the build so far....:w00t:

I had to force it a little. I cut the 4 corners back so it would wrap to the back side. I trimmed if there was too much excess that was folding over the back but kept enough so that it still folded so it would go on better. I was a little worried about cutting but just do a little at a time and it should turn out ok. The hardest part is getting the stitches to line up on the individual piece, then to the 2nd piece. I couldn't get mine to line up perfectly. Smells a little too so don't install it in the car for a couple days, otherwise the car will smell like spray on glue. :barf:

Me too. :) As soon as I find a new job and they release a header I'll dyno it again, with and without a tune. I'm leaning towards getting a tune on the dyno with BRZedit locally.

Ok cool thats what i figured. I already i stalled their shift boot and ebrake boot and went with leather all around. I used a tube of industrial adhesive on the ebrake that luckily had no oders and i just let it dry a few ours and it was good to go

New in my car's (Lil Red) build thread:
Added OEM splash guards (mud flaps) to the car and also painted my wheels logo red.
Clutch pedal travel mod.
Rear Koni Yellow shocks and rear RCE Yellow springs installed (still waiting on front Koni's).

Perrin crank pulley, yes I got red believe it or not ;), added to build thread with impressions. Since Everyone else seems to be getting the Perrin crank pulley I figured I'd join the crowd today. :)

Fn'A 4th brake light kit/rear fog light (kit 2) installed and added to first post.

I'll make sure to text you the dyno results of the header josh!

stockysnail 05-26-2013 12:39 PM

JDL UEL headers ordered!

stockysnail 05-29-2013 02:33 AM

Ordered the following to be installed when they arrive:
-Greddy red short lug nuts
-BRZedit dyno tune at PRE (when headers arrive and are installed)
-Prova Wide-View Rear View Mirror Yellow
-Prova Yellow Wide-View Door Mirrors
-Lamin-X Headlight Covers Yellow

stockysnail 05-29-2013 02:35 AM

Perrin engine mounts were ordered too. I almost forgot. I'll put them in when I put the headers in as it's an easier install that way.
