eBay, Toyota/Scion unit.

I'll be putting a Kenwood DNX6190HD because it runs Garmin navigation.

I vote for an Android head unit. I may be a bit biased, but they really are that much better than the "high" end kenwoods/pioneers/etc in terms of operation and capability. Unless you're running a full competition level stereo, you should seriously consider an Android head unit.
The Ca-Fi is a nice unit and Ca-Fi knock off is pretty nice if you're on a budget. |

The wife just recieved my xmas present yesterday. It is the knock off Ca-Fi andriod. I tried everything to have her give it to me now but I was not winning that battle. I did get to hold it LOL. I had to make sure it wasn't broken:D! Looks really nice. So all in all i will have some photos of it christmas day. My 10" alpine type r woofer came in today and Ma dukes picked up a set of 6.5 alpine type r speakers for xmas and BRZ wing:confused0068:!

Which one did you get? Pic? This is the knockoff.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/In-Dash-Car-...4e95c7&vxp=mtr I have one in my other car and its actually pretty damn nice. No capacitive touch and no Torque (yet ;) ), but pretty nice otherwise. |

What is capacitive touch? |

Also Torque will run, but it won't interface with any of the OBD2 adapters. Android 2.3 only supports BT OBD2 adapters, and these Android head units won't support adding BT devices. They only support Phone/Music over BT. The genuine Ca-Fi gets around this with a specialized version of Torque made to use USB OBD2 on Android 2.3. Capacitive touch is what makes it so easy on your phones/tablets to swipe and use multitouch. The screen type on this one is resistive. You can only use one finger at a time and you have to physically push against the screen instead of just brushing it. It can make scrolling kinda meh. I just left the screen protector on mine and use the tip of my finger nail. Don't let this deter you though. The unit is pretty kick ass. I was playing angry birds at a light the other day :). You'll enjoy it. Tell your gf she did an awesome job hehe. |

The torque situation bums me out tho. I was really hoping that would work since turbo is going on in march. Hopefully this is something that can get figured out. There is a USB connection on these units, maybe trying to get a hold of that special torque program |
