Positive Shifts + Bushings
Can someone explain to me what these do?
http://www.jscspeed.com/catalog/Suba...ubaru_BRZ.html http://www.rallysportdirect.com/Whit...tive-Shift-Kit Would a positive shift work with auto? |
We have Videos on our site that whiteline provided to show how these work.
http://ft86speedfactory.com/whitelin...nsert-607.html Now I am not sure the KDT926 would help an automatic but the KDT922 would still help the rear subframe/traction out. |
The positive shift kit (kdt926) should be just called a transmission mount insert.
It keeps the transmission from moving back and forth during acceleration, gear shifts, and braking because it solidifies the rubber void in the factory mount. The rear frame bushings(kdt922) keep it from bouncing around the soft rubber. Btw, I have a ton of these in stock. |
if you drive it hard, track or are adding power tot he car its a good mod
|
The Whiteline mount was the first mod I did and it is great even for daily driving. You'll feel the difference as soon as you drive for the first time. The rear end feels so much tighter and it really snugs up any play from on/off/on throttle jolting. Get this.
