WORKS Exhaust System - Development
Hi everyone im happy to share with you guys the new WORKS exhaust system. WORKS will offer a full ala-carte of exhaust components. This means all pieces will work with any of the stock oem components
WORKS first developed the WORKS muffler delete R-AB (Resonated Axle Back) Exhaust and it is awesome. I tested it for a couple of weeks and it was very quiet for a muffler delete. With the use of resonators there is no drone inside the cabin @ 70mph cruising. Best feature of this exhaust is it's very light with a weight saving of 10.5 lbs versus stock. This is far more better than BERK Specs: Features 64mm (2.5") tubing, 455mm (18") glasspack resonator and beautiful 102mm (4.0") double walled (prevents yellowing), resonated, stainless polished tips with the "WORKS" etched logo. Direct bolt-on to the factory flange, OEM-style hangers for precise fitment and swaps back to stock in minutes. here's a pic and sound clip of the AB [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BI5PMHGH1vA&list=UUWMfUqj746GvmghOPmWzMXw& index=1"]FRS BRZ Dyno Day! 049 - YouTube[/ame] http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/...at102310PM.png http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/...DBA11E9EA5.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/...106cdcc93b.jpg Next step is the WORKS Catback system The catback includes a resonated mid pipe and a choice between the AB or a more quiet AB-M (Axle Back Muffler) Exhale MidPipe Specs: With the exclusive WORKS Exhale MP bolt-on exhaust, it is a straight through design. Features 64mm (2.5") tubing, 455mm (18") glasspack resonator. Direct bolt-on to the factory flanges, OEM-style hanger for precise fitment and swaps back to stock in minutes. The AB-M is almost the same as the AB but the resonator was replaced by a small muffler. The AB-M muffler is very mellow and more of a gentleman's exhaust I currently have the AB-M on my car at the moment and will be running this for a few weeks. the catback system with the AB-M made an impressive 9.3 hp gain vs. the stock system below are photos, video/sound clip and of course dyno graphs! http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/...04628018EF.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/...EDAB0B0D77.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/...2345C247-1.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/...64778A101E.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/...6473C8E32B.jpg http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/...6EB4D720-1.jpg [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szh49N9htlc"]Works Catback Exhaust System - 86_ZN6 - YouTube[/ame] sorry it was raining, windy and slippery outside. we might need to take another video next time [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GGJobpw0DM"]WORKS catback exhaust for frs - YouTube[/ame] Next we will be developing the front pipe and the over pipe. I dont understand why for the muffler delete theres only one video of it on a dyno. For a part that produces no power i would like to see some videos for sound lol

Once every thing is done we will go back the the AB for more videos |
So a full header back system is in the works?

I think I will be down for the groupbuy, is the AB considerably louder than the AB-M?
Which of the two makes more power? |
Quote:
the AB is louder than the ABM AB is resonated while the ABM has a muffler |

I like both, but if the AB sounds more aggressive without being too loud or annoying I would prefer that one. |

Thank you |
Price for full header back?
|
If the price for the ABM axelback exhaust is $400, it works with stock front and mid pipes, and produces about 4 to 5 hp or so .........then count me in for a group buy if that one!!!!
|
Quote:
price will be $399 for the AB-M Quote:

Quote:
the catback system is the one that produces 9++ hp the catback system is made out of the WORKS AB-M and the WORKS Midpipe |

Also you can buy the mid and front pipes later for the ABM exhaust and it will be functional. :happy0180: |
