I wouldnt ever purchase anything after the whole BS claim they made of 10 hp on there drop in filter to just to make some sales. Then other vendors have said that a new mid pipe wont add any gains yet, Works mid pipe some how magically adds 5-6 hp? That and other members have said there AB are made of horrible materials. Maybe not the new SS one but the other one.

Imho i dont think the material on the basic ABM is bad as some think.

People who bought them have no complains. A few of even tracks their car in a regular basis and abuse them.

The exhaust is not for everybody, it's for people who wants a cheap exhaust without all the bling

My car on the first page has the midpipe as well

However it barely changes the sound so it is comparable with just the ABM

I noticed the installer used all 4 rubber mounts. Your instructions say to use just 3. It looks like you don't use the mount nearest the front on the driver's side. Is this right? Maybe that's what is causing the misalignment.

Actually i think you got the old instructions. Sorry

The version 1 of the ABM only had 3 hangers. The v2 has now all 4 hangers.

The trick is moving around the hanger mounts :)

Love the sound, the packaging was super and quality is excellent! I looked at a lot of the alternatives and I agree that this is an excellent low cost option for someone who wants to improve the sound of the car without a lot of bling. It looks like (& sounds like) it should have come with the car.

Id rather buy a Nameless AB cost only 60~ more dollars than your SS system. And they are honest about their gains not lying about the numbers just for the sake of sales.

You are entitled to your own opinion. No one is forcing you to buy this exhaust :)

This thread is merely a development thread and not a comparison vs. other exhaust in the mmarket.

As long as people who bought them are happy then we are happy

Numbers are based on works dyno. Youre more than welcome to come to the shop and see it for yourself since you are local anyways.

Where are you guys purchasing the Works Exhausts? The closest thing I can find is this website below.

http://store.worksmotorsports.com/WO..._p/147.212.htm

Only has one option the ABM.

can some one explain why their is a muffler between exhaust tip one and two? in theory does this not mean only one exhaust tip is being muffled as the other tip does not run through the muffler?

if you looking into other reputable exhaust makers like magna flow, borla, perrin, greddy list goes on... the pipe from the front of the car goes into the back half of the muffler then from there the tip pipes come out of the sides... seems to me like your set up sofar has an issue im either unclear on or i missed something along this thread,

Supposedly, at low revs, the gasses will exit the left side before the muffler. At higher revs, the higher velocity gas will make the turn and go through the muffler. The videos of the exhaust working show this. How effective is this? I have no clue, I just remember it being explained this way.

^^^ interesting... ill certainly look to find that video
