Fuse Location for Auto Dimming Mirror Harness

Just followed a DIY to wire up a radar detector using the auto dimming mirror harness and was wondering what fuse is it running off of?

Anyone?

No one knows the answer?! lol. I tried hard wiring my radar to this connector but there is no power going to it. Where is the fuse?

I was able to get it to work with this harness just follow the DIY. I just wanted to know where the fuse is so if it got shorted out I would know where to look.

I followed it exactly and have electrical experience. Because it did not work i then checked if the harness was getting power and it isn't at all. I checked everyone of my fuses and they are all fine. I find it very strange I am the only one with this problem.

The harness is only powered when the ignition power is on.

I used the harness to hook a dimming mirror and all functions only work when the ignition contact power is on or in accessories position.

That does not tell you where the fuse is, but it explains why the harness is not getting power when the ignition contact switch is in the off position.

Same here. I am debating if I just got an invisicord with an in-line fuse or not. I want to know where the fuse is located. No one know where?

Why don't you just use the extended ac cord plugged inside the glove box? I got the cable for 10 bucks and just tucked the wires in the headliner. Clean, no mess with wires, works well.

I want to keep the outlet in the glove compartment open in case I ever need to use it for anything. Maybe charge a second phone if I'm on a road trip with a passenger or something.

My Homelink rear view mirror lost power recently and after some testing, I was able to identify the location of the burnt fuse. It is the 10 amp ECU ACC fuse #1 in the Instrument panel. Hope this will help anyone who has the same issue.
