Front bumper wont come off! help!

Im installing hella horns and I am trying to take off the bumper, I have removed all the pop rivets and screws, now when I pull down the bumper it doesnt seem to want to come off. I have not fully removed the side markers but I have popped the rivet as I read in one of the guides.

All those that have removed their bumpers pease help!!:thanks:

You have to remove the side markers and the plastic rivets on the inside where the tires are at. Then you should be able to remove the bumper but pull it slowly

Follow the instructions in DarrenDrivens DIY for blacking out the headlights, he details all the steps required to remove the bumper.

I followed Darren's and his friends , they were able to remove his friends without removing the the markers .. And that's what I am trying to do.
I guess I'm unsure of the force required to pull it

There are pop rivets behind the side markers, they have to come off before the bumper comes off.

So you followed one set of instruction, it didn't work. Someone else tell you another set, but you won't try it insisting the original instructions are correct.

Not sure what you want from here. :iono:

look at the blinkers, dont ham fist it, I forget what I used- was it a #2 or #3 phillips and stick in the 'hole', from behind, pry gently, top first then bottom, it will come out

less force equals more success
its easy once you8 figure it out, I too forced one side then got the other out like cake. its frustrating, patience is your friend, grab a stool and breath in and out, have fun. save teh beer till afterwards.

Well I did that, but I can't seem to figure out where I need to push it out from , such a gay design

look at it, there are two silver clips that need to be pushed in
take wheel off and stick head in there

mashal 12-16-2012 01:23 PM

Those I see one clip at the bottom , I tried to push it in but it didn't give

I have the tire off , the clip at the bottom doesn't want to go in for some reason
