WOW THIS CAR IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!

wow :confused0068: this car looks great i am really liking that blue and black 86. i really hope the scion version is just like the 86 but with a frs logo.

im looking to buy a new car by the end of next year under 30k and this car just jumped to the top of my list. honestly i do not know how its going to move with just 200 hp but with the videos that were released yamaha did a great job with the sound of that engine it really sounds great.

one of my main question is how much room is their going to be in the interior. i am a 6' 240 lbs guy and right now i want something with more driver room than my current scion tc. what do you guys think?

Drivers up to 6'3" felt comfortable in test drives.

This seems to be a concern for quite a few here. I am 6'2, so it is a big deal to me also. Will just have to wait until they hit the lot, sit in one to see if I have enough headroom and make sure my knees don't hit the steering wheel. If they do, then I will have to look at something else. :(

Also remember that if you are all legs or all torso can influence how comfortable you will be.

The tC isn't huge either, but this car will definitely be smaller width wise (if that's what you're wondering). The onky way to find out is to test drive it once it comes to showrooms

You don't know how this thing is gonna move with just 200hp but you drive a tc? :iono: No need to worry 200 is plenty for the weight of this car and best bet to see if you'll seat comfortably is a test drive when the cars out

Toyota says 0 to 62MPH in 6 secs...plenty of fastness!

And sexy as hell!

Wow that's not bad at all for a N/A 4-pot. With just bolt-ons it's easy to see it deep in the 5 second 0-60.

0-100 km/h in just 6,0 sec? Where did you read this? Only a Golf R is faster, but that thing costs 37.430 €. It has AWD what help alot.

In an interview article, an engineer(Mr. Tada?) said 0-60 in 6s. Probably high 6s.

Here is the article.

At these power levels I would say that the AWD system's weight disadvantage would outweigh its grip advantage for 0-60 times. I can't imagine much wheelspin in the 86 with such low torque numbers.

And one of my first mods will be to upgrade tires, since I'm going to burn through the stockers pretty easy.
