32 Hours 7 Minutes

I'm sure there are a lot of you guys and gals that have been waiting years on end for the release of Cory Welles' movie/documentary "32 Hours 7 Minutes". I have good news. It's finally released! First shipments go out today (Dec. 14th, 2012), and the cost is $29.95. Copies as of right now can only be ordered via Paypal (Paypal Address: cory@gravidfilms.com) -- https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/make-online-payments. If you have any questions, you can contact Cory Welles at the above email address, as well.

For those of you who don't know about the movie, I urge you to watch the trailer. It's essentially a documentary revolving around The Cannonball Run, US Express Race, and Alex Roy's Transcontinental Drive and subsequent unofficial world record.

Now, here's where things get really interesting. Alex Roy, a major feature in the movie and major investor in Gravid Films, has decided to post this on Facebook:

"I have been informed that there is a version of the film '32 Hours 7 Minutes' scheduled for imminent release by Gravid Films and Cory Welles. This version was not reviewed, approved or endorsed by me. In October of 2012, my attorneys filed suit against Ms. Welles, 32 Hours 7 Minutes LLC, Gravid Films, and others, alleging negligence, malfeasance and breach of contract. I was notified of Gravid’s decision to release the film and believe that this release, scheduled after years of inactivity, is simply an attempt to answer some of the claims that are being litigated. I remain committed to my loyal fans and supporters and will continue to work to make sure that they receive only the best product that reflects my commitment to and passion for of the open road."

My question: do we buy this movie as many of us have been awaiting it for so long, or do we steer clear of it until Gravid Films releases an Alex Roy approved edition?

I read the book a few years ago so I dont remember perfectly, but I do know I only heard about the movie due to the book. He discusses how she was making the movie with his permission, and everyone involved signed a bunch of non-disclosure contracts, wonder if the release is somehow a breach of the contract.

Either way I can wait to see this movie, if anyone here streams it or torrents it, LMK!

This is true. Non-disclosure contracts were signed along with contracts pertaining to the actual release of the movie. I guarantee that the release is somehow a breach of contract, but I don't think that it is as big of a deal as Alex is making. I could be wrong though.

Indeed, it is. Maybe this means Alex Roy will release his own movie reflecting on all of his Rallies and World Record.

Frustrated would be the one word I would use to describe this entire situation.
