Borla does a lot of testing to insure no drone on their exhausts. I can only speak from Mustang experience but it's one of their big selling factors.

Nope, although it does help to have a friend stand at the back of the car so you don't have to keep getting out from under to check.

Yeeeeeah, she's at the dealer today getting the ecm recall. I spent a while yesterday with a tech trying to show him the crickets noise... Hopefully they declare it as a chirping and do the tsb.


I had no previous experience with Borla, but I was definitely pleasantly surprised with the build quality and sound of this exhaust. The lack of drone is a really nice thing, something I've never had before!

Is your car a manual transmission? I'd like to hear the interior while you cruise on the highway at 65mph (2500ish rpm) . I don't think you did that in your videos.

i was not aware of a recall for the cricket noise?

Yes there is a TSB out. The dealership I go to could not reproduce the chirping so I told them to use a stethoscope.
