L3P's Firestorm Build *Robin*

I decided to share my experience and a journal to show my progress. I had been following the talk of the FR-S since the concept was released. Thankfully it doesn't look like the concept. I loved all the specs about the car. In August f last year I finally got the chance to test drive an Ultramarine MT. Fell in love with the car immediately from everthing from the looks to the way it handled. After that I was sold but, I knew I wanted a Firestorm AT! I put the order in and started the long what seemed like eternity wait. Finally, after 4 long months I got my FR-S Firestorm AT on 10-29-12 from Riverside Toyota.

Haven't posted much lately so here we go. Not really impressed with the LED package that's on it currently. Can't complain too much since it was a Christmas gift but I want the reverse lights and license plate lights to be brighter. So, I ordered the FR-S Kit 3 from HID_Powerhouse. Should be here in the next week or so. Also ordered a custom Carbon Fiber Insert to replace that empty space behind the shifter. Should be here in a week or 2. The Beat Sonic Shark Fin antenna I ordered has arrived. As soon as it stops raining i'll take some pics and get them posted. Also, if you've seen any of my posts you know that my FR-S had a bottle thrown at it while I was driving home one night. It goes to the paint shop on the 8th to be re-painted. While it's there i'm going to get my badges blacked out with a slight twist. I'll have some new pics up soon!

Finally stopped raining where I could take some pics. Got the Beat Sonic Shark
Put on today. Looks 100 times better.

I too went with LED's from HID_POWERHOUSE as well as the Beat Sonic shark fin. Our builds are almost identical so far (although I never thought about a trunk mat). I am interested in seeing installed pics of your custom insert and where you ordered it from.

Cool man. The trunk mat was a great investment for me. My FR-S is a daily driver. With me being a firefighter and carrying my turnout gear in the trunk it was a no brainer. Plus, I didn't want to ruin the carpet that came with it. The CF insert should be here today or tomorrow and if not sometime next week. Got it from a member named "Doggy" on here.
