wow, with 33K left on the car you must have bought a lot of extended warranties! maybe you can get a refund on those? just go to the dealership with crying child in hand and don't leave until they work something out.

This looks like a bad situation for everyone involved, hopefully we are all reminded of a few lessons here, both financial and relationship/responsibility. good for you for manning up and doing whats right for your kid
