Authenticity plate for the 86
 

"IF" Toyota is only making 1000, should they put authenticity plates on each car? :iono: Seems like it would be cool to know exactly which one you got.

If they are only doing 1000 a year then yes. If they are going to ramp it up, or if the 1000 number is for Japan only then it's not worth it.

i think every hand built model has a plate with the name of the person who built it ?
or is that just for rolls royce ?

i also dont believe the 1000 cars a year thing, so not toyota like and would mean the cars will be very expensive and not affordable like they said it would be.

If they do hand build the engine then they might do the same thing ad the LF-A and give us a plaque with the signature of the people who built it.

Come on. This is not an LF-A. Think how many engines will blow up from the 400 PS turbocharger-kits. I hope it will not blow up from the 300 PS supecharger-kits.
