Rwd toyota users here?

Like besides that guy with the red corolla? Just wondering how many of (what I presume is) toyotas target demographic are on here. Care to share them?

Why do you like them so much? What do you use yours for (motorsports I mean). And what's the most important thing about the ft86 for you? What's the one thing toyota HAS to get right for YOU?

Thanks.

Yeah me too. Everything else is easily fixed. I hope toyota knows people feel this way.

If I can get it down below 2200lb it's all set. Done deal. If not well, there's always something else. Or more old stuff.

my toyota's also rwd... except it has the engine where it belongs. :D

autox, trackdays, spirited driving. i like it because it's good-looking, reliable, and has potential to be very fast.

toyota needs to get the "fun" factor of driving right. the ergonomics need to be correct. i'd like lower weight, lsd, and a higher revving engine.

I own a MR2 and use it for the fun miles during the weekend, HPDE/Trackdays and Nürburgring - Nordschleife.

Reliability plus looks.. and it's something different to all the BMW's you see around here in Europe, especially on the track.. it's like 30 BMW's for 1 Toyota.

What's the most important thing about the ft86 for you?
I guess it's the combination of having a reliable new car with great looks and a nice chassis.

What's the one thing toyota HAS to get right for YOU?
Handling, suspension..

Just like oldskooltoy says light weight power to weight is a big factor to me, price will be the second, high revving engine & balance, If this car has all that out the box means less modification for people & you will have a plenty of future colt followers.

Yeah you say that now.

Until you get an FT and realize it blows your SK2 completely out of the water.:)
