I canyon from time to time, but you'll only find me there when there wasn't a track event for me to go to, and it's not fun when I have to hold back to leave myself room for correction...

I run the canyons all the time. But ditto to the above posts. Come on out to the track. Way more fun and no worries about the popo or some idiot crossing into your lane on a blind corner.
