Bought a new car!!

Not what you think, I want a FRS so we went car shopping because the wife need's a new car, her 06 toyota matrix is starting to have issues so we went around looking at cars and I have been wanting a FRS for a while...Well somehow we went home with a 2012 Nissan Sentra SR....shit...

Sad day.

That does suck.

...I'm forbidden to say it!...

hmm, are there mods you can do to a Sentra??

JoeBoxer 12-13-2012 11:10 PM

Should have at least got the new body style 2013, they look decent even though they have about 5" of wheel gap.

Expected FRS content. OP doesn't deliver. Should be in the Other Cars section.

Oh well, enjoy what you got, and think about it this way.. It's her car, right? So now you need one. ;)

Lower it.
Turbo it.
Take it to KFC and show it off.

I've actually seen it done I get my parts from concept z performance which is mostly a Nissan shop and there is an intake and exhaust available but that is about it for the aftermarket. And I do like the constant velocity transmission they seen to get up and go pretty good considering the other cars in it's class but no way would I give up my FR-S for one!

I changed the oil in my truck today (since we are talking about random car stuff that has no relation to an FRS i thought i would just talk about something completely useless)

My best friend (Much bigger car guy than me) loves his 94 Sentra, but it's a manual, and last time I checked he didn't have any major mods on it. I can ask him, I suppose, then again it might not be relevant. But would your wife even let you mess with her car?

The B13 was the first to offer Nissan's famous and then-new SR20DE engine in the sporty two-door SE-R model. Setting subcompact speed records of the time, the Sentra SE-R came with 140 hp (104.4 kW) at 6400 rpm and 132 lb·ft (179 N·m) of torque at 4800 rpm. It could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (100 km/h) in 7.6 seconds and the quarter-mile in 15.8 seconds. It came with 4-wheel disc brakes and had a MacPherson strut independent suspension. Further improving the handling was a viscous limited-slip differential, which was standard equipment on the SE-R. The B13 SE-R returns 21 mpg-US (11 L/100 km; 25 mpg-imp) city/29 mpg-US (8.1 L/100 km; 35 mpg-imp) highway

I've heard the '91-'94 Sentras were excellent but anything before and after was crap.

Why did the Johnny Chimpo logo from Super Troopers pop into my mind when you said that.................?
