The twin and a smartphone

I did a quick forum search and was either too lazy to do a deeper search or found nothing.

I want a way to mount my iPhone so it stands next to the radio unit while being connected to the USB without puncturing holes into the car interior. Anyone done this or know any products?

I hope it's not a troublesome request/question

Thanks,
Ten

I'm not near my car but have you considered a suction mount? do you need to actually touch your phone or is it just there for show? I think you could maybe use a suction mount on the far left of the passenger plate thing...Right next to the head unit. That'd be your best option judging from pics...

It's mostly to be used when I run the NAV on the phone. It sometimes gets painful to shift in cities and look at the phone to check if you are going to make this or the next turn.

Proclip now makes a mount that sounds like it would work for what you want.

I run my cable under the plastic piece around the head unit. Looks clean

Can you show me a few pics of your setup?
