New Shop Toy Car
Just a heads up.
Took a ride with a friend in his evo to a evo shop and in the same industrial park was Behe performance in beltsville MD. A known tuning guru of magic with porsche and high end gm stuff and track day cars, just picked up a new scion fr-s in dark blue. Seen it there today at there shop. Stopped by and got some info. They plan to make it a autocross/ track day fun car. John (the tuner) had been looking in the ecu and feels confident he can easily tune 10-15% more power with no mods. They had the rear muffler off and were making a small straight pipe for it and surprisingly it was very quiet. Said they dont plan to mass produce parts made for it but will help custom make parts for anyone trying to make theirs better. I was very excited seing what they had in the shop it felt good to see the lil fr-s alongside such great cars as a 911 gt3 and a twin turbo gto. and the shop was very excited about the car. makes me feel proud to have one! I dont know if we can post shops info without sponsor stuff but if you search you can find them. exciting stuff :burnrubber: |
So, your first post on the forums is to talk about somebody's shop..... right? You do not post their link, but say to search for their website...

sorry every other forum i have been apart of shunned mentioning companies info if they were not a sponsor. I just had a kid so my free time to browse the web is very limited. i got there card. http://beheperformance.com was the site for them. but it wasnt very updated. we went to pick up my friends evo and I asked why the website was basically crappy. They laughed and said they mainly use a facebook page to do stuff due to cost. :( i thought that was silly and missing some oppourtunity... but what can I say. im not a facebook typer person so I dont even know how to go about finding that page. While i was there the shop owner fired up the car with its rear muffler delete and single tailpipe. sounded very good. surprising how quiet it was. They plan on redoing the rear insert to make it a pretty center exit but dont want to do to much until they play with it on the dyno so they have good baseline info.
cheers :) |
OMG, CENTER EXIT.
