My dad's GTR was hit by a black escalade at 60mph (he was going only 40) at 4am in Atlantic City the other night and the scumbag never stopped. now $10,000 worth of damage is all on him and his insurance.

Not even 3 days later, my brz was parked in center city Philadelphia right outfront of my workplace. I was almost done work when and a sewer company truck just finished doing work underground. He was pulling out of an alley (my car was parked in the cornerspot) when he cut the turn too much and almost ripped my entire front bumper off. When i realized what had happened i was in immediate disbelief. I keep seeing damaged brz/frs on this forum but i never thought it would happen to mine. sorry if the pictures are oversized i havent discovered an easy way to upload pictures properly.

Wow man, bad luck :(

That sucks. I would have thought the insurance company would take care of that damage on the GT-R?

zuldajin 12-13-2012 03:58 PM

wow...

hope you guys find the scumbag driver of that escalade and punch his teeth in.

Your pictures are a little small. I can't asses the damages done to your vehicle.

Jokes aside, is the sewer company paying for your car to be fixed?

kykiee 12-13-2012 04:00 PM

damn that sucks big time! where are you located in jersey?

Happens to all of us brother. Sucks. Be it a door ding, rear ender, fender bender, etc.. We all get it somehow. Glad to see that no one was hurt. You can always fix the cars but it's harder to fix you.

nbafandan 12-13-2012 04:04 PM

no :( i'm so sorry =(

Dumbass prolly still had his head in the sewer!

Wish my dad drove a GTR. Ummm, but he's 84 yrs old so not.

im from the cherry hill area.. a little town called stratford, i bartend in center city philadelphia though. and yes the sewer company is paying for all of the damage. including the towing process. i found out today i will be without my car for at least two weeks. even though nothing will be coming out of my pocket, its devastating knowing that this happened. i have to say it was the worst feeling of my entire life when i saw what had happened

I'm glad no one was hurt. A car is a car, albeit the cost, but it's definitely better than a limb or two!

You are obviously quite young. Hopefully that will be the worst thing you will have to deal with for a long time still.
