A Better Way To Search FT86CLUB
First of all I'm not sure if this is in the right section, so if so, Mods please move this.
Anyways, most people will find the search function of almost any fourms somewhat useless, or just not as accurate as they would like. So as I've seen and used on various forums I suggest a better search alternative. It's through google, all you have to do is put: "site:ft86club.com" in the search bar, then space and type whatever it is you're searching for. What this does is limit google to searching for whatever word you searched for through only whatever site you have listed .It is more efficent to find your needs. Just thought I'd share! :w00t: Here is a direct link to google with it ready for you to type your phrase: http://www.google.com/search?client=...UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 |
some forums have this in addition to the normal site search! becomes pretty useful

My way I find stuff that people who havent searched properly seem to miss, if I am lookinf for something having to do with taillights, go to advanced search, select the "titles only" option, and tpye taillights, or tail lights.
If you were looking for leaking tail lights threads, you may have come upon some others, but you should be able to find one easily. |
Right, I do everything through the advanced site search function and it works really well unless you have a very short character string you are searching for. I particularly like the ability to quickly limit the search to a particular subforum as usually that zooms into what threads are most relevant on a given topic.
