Exhausts are pretty safe, but if anything put back on the stock exhaust then bring it in.

I seriously doubt the exhaust is the culprit but the dealership might give u problems if they see that its there.

Find out from a service manager if they can retrieve the code after the light has gone out, or whether the data is erased. If it is still available it is probably worth finding out what it was.

Do you have an aftermarket intake installed?

TemeCal 12-13-2012 11:36 AM

Just curious...
What ECU version do you have in your car? 810? 811? 812?

There is nothing a cat-back exhaust can do to possibly cause engine problems or void a warranty. If anyone ever tried to void your warranty over a cat-back, you could sue them. However...other parts that seem trivial (like an intake), CAN cause issues that could lead to engine malfunctions.

The ECU is behind the glove box. You'll need to lie down on the passenger floor, contort your body and look behind the glove box. Look at the last 3 digits. You can also open the glove box, and get a glimpse that way. It's on the right side of the glove box (when opened).
