Longest Roadtrip

K, I was commenting on FB about longest road trips. I wanna hear what's everyone's longest road trip (driving or biking) you ever did.

My longest one is UT to LA of 12hrs.

My friend, she did UT to New Orleans of 34hrs.

Longest roadtrip... hmm.

I think it was my area to Cape May, NJ. Google maps says it's 230 miles and almost 4 hours.

Yeah, not that long of a trip.

6300 miles over the course of two weeks. Two years ago we took a family trip (two kids, wife, myself) in our Forester XT from Ohio to SoCal via Route 66 much of the way, stopping in Vegas along the way, then we drove up the coast into Oregon on US1/101/PCH, on up into Washington, then made the return leg of the trip home from Oregon straight through, 37 hours driving straight (I did all but about 4 hours of those 37 hours driving).

We roadtrip to Florida 2 to 3 times a year, 2500 mile round trip. We've done quite a few other trips of 3-4000 miles as well. I'll always rather drive than fly.

GA to Monte Vista, CO. 24 hours.

I was in highschool and went on a 2 week hunting trip.

Did two weeks worth of homework while driving through Texas on the way back lol.

My longest solo roadtrip: Milwaukee, WI to Miami, FL (1,475 miles) in 19 hours 47 minutes.

Drove down to Atlanta Georgia, about 13-14 hours. On the way back we stopped in Kentucky, that was a good 18 hours on the road with that stop. Thankfully I didn't have to do all of the driving.

Already shared this on the FB discussion, but last year I made a 26 hour drive to Nebraska from VA. It was my boyfriend and I in his E90 and he didn't allow us to stop for food or anything really. Just like 3-4 fill-ups at the gas station and straight driving. He wouldn't even let me have more than one beverage because he didn't want me to have to stop to use the restroom. haha. The drive back seemed like it took even longer. It was one of the best road trips ever though because of all that bonding time that we were stuck in the car together for.

Oh and usually I tend to feel pretty motion sick on road trips, but the ride in that car was always so nice that I was fine the whole time :)
