A Dream Come True

I am a proud new owner of a Whiteout FR-S M/T! My previous car was a 1996 Ford Mustang that I had in the family since '96 and I drove for 12+ years...my car was getting to the point where maintenance was out weighing its worth. My fiance and I have been following the GT86/FR-S/BRZ since it was a figment of Toyota-Subaru's R&D department's imagination. Since this time until it came to fruition, we have been preparing to get this car and it has been a long time coming.

Like many new owners before us, you all know what I mean when I say that this car is an absolute dream to drive! My fiance and I had to make a couple of trips from the dealership to our home and back on the day we purchased the car for additional paperwork, but the majority of the trip was just in silent awe of this machine...to be quite honest, I didn't turn on the radio until yesterday (I've had the car since this past Sunday) just to see what all the rage was about the Bespoke.

My initial shock was how well we both fit in this car. My fiance is 5'11" and I am 5'2", we both took turns that first night marveling behind the wheel. His first impression was that the seat hugged his body and the location of all the items in the console is exactly where it should be. As we traded seats after the first leg of our trip, I honestly had the same first impression, even though I'm a 5'2" girl. Yes, I'm prepared to hear it from some that I should take extra caution in this car as I am a female driver, but rest assured my father did not teach me to drive anything like a girl

Please forgive me for the photo below as that was the first photo we took when we brought our new addition home. It has been raining the last several days here in Central Florida, so more picks are on there way as weather permits. As I am a new member of the forum, I would like to give a huge thanks to all the forum members who volunteered their time in gathering information about this car, what to look for when buying a new car, and what to expect at the dealership...it was such a huge help!

Night shot, the angle did not look this extreme on my phone!

Congratulations, you have a beautiful car. You especially sound like the kind of person who will really get a lot of pleasure out of that beauty. Good luck.

Congrats! The car is gorgeous in that color (yes I'm biased).

Congratulations on your new car! I've only got 700 miles on mine and I can't wait for work to end JUST to drive home.

I still look forward to the drive home every day, and I have 8,500 miles on mine. I hated the daily commute before.

Congrats!

All I can say is: Be careful pulling into parking lots and drive ways with any incline what-so-ever. This car doesn't like going straight up ramps.

Gratz! So much fun aint it? I barely had mine for a week (7 days today) and I'm loving it. Trying to keep it under 4k is hard. Just restrain yourself til after 1k miles!
