Long Island RCE Suspension Starter Kit DIY

Hey all, I'm planning on getting RaceComp's Starter kit but it doesn't look like they have any authorized shops local to Long Island. Anyone else from the area want to plan an install day where we can help each other out with the installs? I don't have a lift or air tools, but have ramps, speed floor jack, jackstands, tools, etc. Anyone interested? This is what's part of the kit:

RCE Starter kit "lite"
- RCE Yellow springs with shortened bumpstops
- OEM camber bolts
- Whiteline rear camber adjustment bushing

try NO Limit Motorsports or Real Auto Dynamic

great people

Neither carry RCE and I'd feel bad bringing in someone else's product to install. Besides, aside from the rear bushing, looks like this is fairly straightforward.

We are an authorized RCE Dealer and Installer, we've been installing their products for years and also race/track with Myles as well. We aren't in Long Island, but we are about 30 min from the GWB. Well worth the drive out to us.

Shoot us an e-mail and we'll get you setup. We also offer alignment services as well.

Thanks Mike, might be worth the drive, I'll be in touch, especially since you do alignments too which I'll need anyway.

off topic - but what kind of ramps do you have? I've been thinking about buying some 'race ramps' but they are a bit pricey.

AZP is the legit route it sounds like. But if you're going DIY... I might happen to have a beefy dewalt electric impact wrench (very helpful for suspension work) that I might be willing to lend out to a friend :D I rented one a couple times years ago wrenching on my integra until eventually I just bought one.

I've got the 16,000lb Rhinos - great ramps. I used to have steel ones before, but they weighed a ton. These Rhinos are made out of some lightweight composite material that you can throw around pretty easily and it still can take a good amount of weight.

Oh btw, the RaceRamps have a lower incline better suited for low clearance vehicles, but I just throw down a 2x4 in front of the Rhino. The RaceRamps are definitely more expensive. And thanks for offering of the impact wrench! Will definitely keep that in mind but I think Mike over at AZP is the best bet for the suspension job since they can do the alignment as well.

where is that in farmingdale?

thanks for the info on the ramps. I'm afraid the rhinos will slip at the worst time especially if the floor is wet. on the race ramps site they show them being used on ice. and clearance is a concern of mine as well like you mentioned

and clearly the cookie offer trumps my impact wrench offer lol

Well Bryan is definitely the man when it comes to detailing on Long Island, but I believe there are some good guys out closer to you in Jersey as well.
