What's everyone doing for rears?

So I've dug through a bunch of builds on here and got some great info, but it seems no one is really upgrading their rears or just not showing much info on it.

My plan is to run my Focal 165kr components up front with the 6.5" in the door and the 1" on the dash in place of the 3" but I'm on the fence with what to do with the rears.

For amps I have a pair of focal amps, each does 2x75Wrms so I do plan on amplifying the rears but I'm on the fence with what will fit. My FR-S doesn't arrive until february so I can't go measure much at the moment.

Should I look at throwing some coaxials in the rear? or how hard would it be to mount up some tweaters and run a second set of 165kr's?

the rears are a small (3.5" IIRC) out of place speaker back there. You could fit at least a 10" back there if you really wanted to, I did a 3-way set-up in front and dont have any need to replace the rears because anything that would fit wouldn't make much of a difference and I dont feel like/want to build anything for any more speakers. The car is so small the 3-way set up gets loud enough and I haven't even amplified it yet.

can you fit 8 inch free air slim subs in the rear? cause that could be a decent option

Damn I thought they were 6.5's, just really shitty ones. I think I'll plan on just running the fronts then and see what I can figure out as I'm doing the install.

Thanks everyone!

If you have the skill and the balls, you could put a 10 back there. Or whateveryou want. I just don't see the benefit of it.

I just used 3.5". It would take a lot more work to fit anything else back there. There isn't really solid chassis to mount them, only the mounting bracket for the factory speaker.

Haha, because it would be awesome! Also, it would take up 0 cargo space and be about as stealth as you can get. I like this idea and may give it a shot, depends on how much JL wants for the stealth box and how much a single 10" TW3 winds up costing.

I just replace the rear 3.5 and front 3.5 with infinity kappa 3.5s and power them off my headunit. I can't really see a need to upgrade them to bigger speakers.
