I need your opinions
 

So I did this prototype of the 86 logo to put on the front bumper grill. What are your opinions on it. Nice, ugly, would put on your car, will not, ect. So go ahead pour it on me.

That's all you. Although if you were able to replace the Scion emblem with an 86 emblem.... I think that'd look great.

might be better to make a mesh grill with the 86 logo in it

It seems out of place. It looks like someone through a plastic lid on your grill.

On another note, what is that on your roof? Did you wrap the two sides only?

Not really my style so I wouldn't add it, but it does look cool.

Oh it's ok guy's, don't feel bad for negative comments. I want honest thoughts and ideas. Don't forget this is just a prototype, the idea is to put the 86 logo on the grill like a maserati, how it's gonna be or color is not define yet.

Ahh, I see what you're going for. I don't think it would work for the 86 logo though. It's too circular and bulky for that purpose. It's not sleek at all.

If it was recessed and black to match it might be a cool subtle detail.

I think it's tacky. Looks like something that should be on your refrigerator...not your car.

It's way too big for my taste. However...like others have stated, I can certainly appreciate your efforts...and more importantly...your enthusiasm!

I could almost see it if you painted the logo onto the grille itself, like if you made a template and spray-painted the logo in white on the grille. It wouldn't stand out quite as much but would still achieve a similar effect. Maybe?

The difference between the FR-S and the Maserati is... that the FR-S isn't a Maserati. Nor is the Maserati an FR-S. The Maser can pull off certain styling choices that the FR-S cannot, and vice-versa.

I agree compering a Maserati to the GT-86 is just like comparing cows to horses...ya they both have 4 legs but that is about the only similarities that you can draw.....see what i did there you thought i might do apples and oranges but oh no went original on you with the comparison....well a bit original.

I think for this to work you would need to completely redesign the grill pattern to flow with the 86 symbol

Agreed. However, if you could modify the logo, say, remove the circle encasing and then enlogate it up/down, you may be able to pull it off.
