New Varis front bumper

I wasn't planning on replacing my whole front bumper, I just wanted to do a lip kit... but this has me intrigued. Can't wait to see it painted and on a car (preferably in white or red, so the curves really show up well). I like the built in brake ducts and canards. Looks functional.

To many holes?

boredom.is.me 12-09-2012 10:35 AM

What do you mean by too many holes. All they added were the inlets below the foglight.

oso_25 12-09-2012 01:42 PM

I like but what about the turn signals? All I see is the fog lights holes

CLM 12-09-2012 02:10 PM

I like it, the grill kind of reminds me of 350/370z's Varis front kit too LOL
overall I think it looks pretty MEAN

Tansey86 12-09-2012 02:37 PM

This bumper and a big frontmount

Wolfking 12-09-2012 03:45 PM

I'm quite fond of canards. I look forward to seeing this painted and installed.

It's nice. I like it more than the other crap that's out there.

Look right above the fog light holes. There are clearly section that need to be cutout for the turnsignals right there.

I see where they go but why didn't they cut that part out?

Perhaps this is a "universal" piece in that you can leave those inserts in if installing on a BRZ, or pop them out for an FR-S?

Sorry if that came off like short answer, didn't mean for it too. With that said, It is probably a prototype or first model production so as part of the install/fit-n-finish they will trim and cut out the turn signals.

There can never be too many holes, that's why I love women so much :D

ngabdala 12-10-2012 12:13 AM

It's for the GT-86

LIKEABOSS 12-10-2012 12:43 AM

Another example of why less is more. The OEM bumper is tough to beat!

russv 12-10-2012 12:39 PM

I'm a believer in that form should follow function

86design 12-10-2012 09:18 PM

can someone show me where you guys see the canards?? i dont see anything on that front bumper!

this is what it looks like attached to a frs/gt86

JDM-dono 12-14-2012 06:52 AM

try to think of this varis bumper as a representation of the s2000 ap2 CR front bumper ... you might like it a bit more if you take this perspective.

I don't think it's gone on sale yet. I found the original pic on Varis's Facebook page. I know that Bulletproof Automotive carries a lot of Varis stuff though; could probably get a hold of them and see if they have any further info.

Best looking front bumper available. I have plans for this bumper.

Same here. I'm hoping I can secure a discount for buying the whole kit at once, because I'm also eying their carbon fiber trunk and vented hood. Maybe only cost me an arm and three quarters of a leg, instead of all my appendages.

haha, i was thinking this bumper, and the GT Concept hood and call it a day. It would be subtle, but would really highlight the cars body lines.

haha, I like when people look at the car, and can tell something looks great about it, but cant quite put there finger on why it looks better than stock. Im very much an oem+ kinda person.
