Encoding DivX movies to play on stock BRZ headunit?
I have many mkv movies on my computer and I've tried many many MANY variations of resolution, format and audio possible and the closest I've managed to playing a video on the BRZ headunit is getting video to play, but no audio.
I've followed the video resolution restrictions and audio formats that are detailed in the manual, but still, it's useless, nothing works. Has anyone had any success encoding their own videos? |
I use toast titanium to convert my mkv,avi,H264. But I have a Mac

Yes. Just select divx as the output format and whatever quality and let it do it's thing.

The pioneer headunit sounds fine and have lots of cool features, but the rear speakers sound really really bad (when i fade all sound to the back).
Are the rear speakers supposed to be fullrange or only tweeters? If not something has gone wrong in the process of changing the headunit and the connectors to the back... |
The BRZ Fujitsu will play DivX but you have to register the device first. The divx setup opting in settings should have more info.
I also bypassed the motion sensor so my kid can watch videos from the back seat while we're on long trips. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk |
What about 2013 FRS??
