DF Aero Kit (Fenders and rear wing)
1 Attachment(s)
The designer of this kit is now a member of the site, just wanted to welcome Sebastian and get some feedback from the members here. I love the fenders myself and hope to get them when they are available.

Nice im looking for a clean looking wide body ad rear options?
|
Wider front fenders, an ultra tasteful, understated front wing & that's it? Perfect, IMO...
I'm in for those pieces in the future--after the hairdryer goes in. |
Hi all.
Nice to be among fellow FRS builders/owners. As for the parts its all under ongoing process. Talking to dealers and other manufactors and see were to aim and sell these peices. At first we focus on the Rearwing and we are talking about 1# Do a Add on part 2# Do a complete replacement trunk in carbon fiber. For a addon part this big the fitment needs to be 100% on point, even if we use state of the art laserscanns and 3d milling its always some room for errors. So plan for making a complete trunk is better. And that is if the cost of manufactoring it can be held down to be able to have good matching prices on every replacement part we will release! Same for the front fenders, /Sebastian @DF-Aero @DailyFresh |
I can't believe how good simplicity looks. I want it. Looks like the fenders could get chipped with debris during daily driving though.

Yes its ofcourse is a problem that is hard to solve! Both looking good and be usefull:) But as in this stage the fenders are just simple mockups and not final product! So what i think its not gona go that deep in with the airduct and also we will try leveling it out so it flows with sides more! By adding some mm to widen the fenders. |
This is what I want

Any estimate on when it will be available?
|
At this point its to early to tell. But we are focusing on getting this out the first half of 2013
|
I've been following this kit on Facebook and I love it! Would love to have those fenders on my car, so hopefully the quality, fit, and price is right!
|
How far do they extend from stock 1-2"? I'll be looking to run a 285 square setup. Also, any preliminary idea on pricing?
Thx |

more pictures of the wing please

Looks great, I just wish they were full faired fenders instead of the ones that stop just short. A full set of flares might look pretty good too.
|
very interested in the production of the front fenders
|
Simply beautiful. Thank you guys!
|
Hi all again. Its good that you come with wishes and feedback due to the position in the process we are still able to mix ur thoughts into the design of our products. Glad to see you support our work.

So people.
I want you to help us out and make a list of parts that would be highly appriciated. Likeover fenderflares, wing, replacement parts, lipkit etc. And we will look into it and post suggestions in here for you all to be apart on creating something that you really want! Sounds good? /DF-Aero |
I want that spoiler! Do you have any more angles or a website? I hope it won't be carbon fiber, to expensive

Yes the wing will be first priority. Atm we dont have more pics due to chance for it to spread to much and get copied from our fellow people over at a specific country... As soon we have a full scale prototype we will launch first of a FB page mainly about the BRZ/FRS aero making. /S |

A full set of arch flares, maybe just two inches wider.

Thats something we feel that people do not want to do! But it is on our list absolutly. Kinda simple part, just needs users that are not afraid to cut the corners;) |
Welcome to the forum and it looks good so far. Here are several feedback from me.
Feedback on the OP pic. Front Fenders: Love em... but I'll be honest, I've seen that style enough, I'm kinda bored with em. I would do like STI wide fender style or something different. Also to add, I would make that fender 86 emblem part functional vent. Rear Trunk/Spoiler: Looks good. I need to see more photo in different angle to give more feedback. Suggestions parts: Side Skirts: I've seen several of em, but gotta say, I haven't seen any good ones. Most of em, they tried so part that it failed. I would keep it simple and don't add too much vents/angle too much on it. Rear Fender: Please keep away from Rocket Bunny style wide fenders. Make it looks like a stock... but a bit wider (20~35mm) Under panel Diffusers *Front: Combine it w Front lip and having option of simple lip or full under panel diffuser style lip might be interesting to see *Rear: It's amazing no shop have made it yet. Currently stock BRZ & TRD under diffuser is only out on the market. If you can make it, it'll prob sell it decently well & there are few other things... but I don't wanna overload you with stuff. GL w the project  |
Affordable Functional brake ducts? An OEM looking, but more aggressive rear bumper with a better looking diffuser? Simple looking Fog Lights?

Difuser is a big thing when it comes to aerodynamics, But timewise let see. |
Something like this but leave the fog light hole covered to simplify it. That probably will lower costs and labor. You could make that your own.
