TRAC/VSC Settings for AutoX?

I did a quick search, but didn't find and direct answers for the following:

What settings do you prefer with respect to traction control/stability when autocrossing the FR-S?

Sport?
All off?
Foot dance special (as mentioned in earlier post) to 'turn off' lsd slippage effect?

What have you done or do for autox?

Thanks in advance,
Eric G

ALL OFF & naked of driving nannies!

Sport mode will NOT do well in autocross. I tried in on a very wet day, using tires I know do not like wet days. Still ran significantly faster when I turned it all off. Please feel comfortable in your car before turning if all off in the wet though, the rear comes out very quickly.

No problem with the all off mode. I only know the love of FR setups in autox, including a 240z with a turbo (BOOM-turbo style, for you manga fans) and it can get a bit tricky. But then, I often eschew fast times for great slides and counter-steering...

Thanks for the replies.

So nannies off, how about the foot pedal dance to shut down the lsd slippage/braking?

I also vote all off.... provided you want to know how to drive the car and not have it just drive you and cover big mistakes.

All nannies are slower for any driver with even moderate experience and who isn't an idiot trying to break the laws of physics.

Thanks Sam-

Do you also use the brake pedal/e-brake manuvers to turn off the lsd/brakes also?

While I do possess a degree in physics, I don't think I will be challenging any laws on the autox course. But then, I do like to dance on the outside edge of the friction/traction circle...
