So erm... what's gonna happen to this url?

with the FT86 name now GT86 :burnrubber:

It'll probably stay the same. No need to buy another domain just because the name is slightly altered. We all know the difference.

KaliKev 11-27-2011 03:32 PM

The newbies will go somewhere else and this will be the place to be at.

Levi 11-27-2011 04:11 PM

Why need any change: FT-86 is the original project name of both the GT86 and BRZ.

WingsofWar 11-27-2011 04:44 PM

FT86club is still a suitable name. Like Levi said, it encompasses all the models. Toyota and Subaru + concept models.

I wont be venturing into any other forum about FRS/BRZ/GT86 but the original aka this forum. Aside from NASIOC and Toyobaru which im already a member of.

PuGZoR 11-27-2011 04:47 PM

We were the guys salivating over this when it was just the FT86 concept, so I don't think there's a reason for change. The original and the best.

That's only one variant.

ft86club is fine. Toyobaru is already taken and AS1 is a bit obscure.

ZetaVI 11-27-2011 06:38 PM

Either way i'm not leaving this site.

Infernal 11-27-2011 06:56 PM

gt86.info - available
********.com - godaddy are reselling it for about $70

there are more but it's not worth the effort from me at least ^^

I am a web developer/designer so could start a forum under these names, but this one is esablished with some valuable members, so no need :)

suprachica79 11-27-2011 07:12 PM

I'd rather keep this name since it will appeal mainly to those who know more about the car and how it was developed. I trust and respect the opinions of those on this forum and would rather have a tight-knit smaller community than another honda-tech.

Zaku 11-27-2011 07:14 PM

I haven't been a really involved member of any club other than this one and years ago when I was on EPhatch.com. I hope that this place will become not too large and not to little( currently my area forums is dead). FT86club is an appropriate name.

Levi 11-27-2011 07:44 PM

WTH? Just leave it as it is. Let this forum be Nr.1 for all GT86/FR-S/BRZ owners.
